I have tried multiple themes for my 1.5.4.1 version of prestashop and consistently I am slower than any other shop selling the same types of products ...which of course means I am S.O.L. in terms of business. I have followed the suggestions on the forum ie. smarty config., deleting inactive modules, I even tried multiple subdomains for images,css and js but my site was unrecognizeable afterward. I love prestashop guys but this is a problem and if I can't optimize my site I will have to look at other options that run faster.
