Hello, 

I am combining products with lost of colours and sizes and can't find a way to set the correct picture to the color.

Exaple:

 

Product 1 - size 1 - Black - Picture of the product in black

Product 1 - size 2 - Black - Picture of the product in black

Product 1 - size 3 - Black - Picture of the product in black

Product 1 - size 4 - Black - Picture of the product in black

Product 1 - size 5 - Black - Picture of the product in black

 

Product 1 - size 1 - Red - Picture of the product in red

Product 1 - size 2 - Red - Picture of the product in red

Product 1 - size 3 - Red - Picture of the product in red

Product 1 - size 4 - Red - Picture of the product in red

Product 1 - size 5 - Red - Picture of the product in red

 

Product 1 - size 1 - Yellow - Picture of the product in yellow

Product 1 - size 2 - Yellow - Picture of the product in yellow

Product 1 - size 3 - Yellow - Picture of the product in yellow

Product 1 - size 4 - Yellow - Picture of the product in yellow

Product 1 - size 5 - Yellow - Picture of the product in yellow

 

The combinator does a great job combining product with sizes and colours but I have to set the pictures for each colour and I have a lot of combinations. Is there any way to do it automatically?

There is no built in way to do this quicker.

 

You can take a look at the following module, it lets you edit all the combinations on one page.

There is  an attribute filter at the top, so you can select the color, you will see only the combinations with the selected color, and mass assign images to all those combinations.
