Kudzu
This is maddening! I keep getting free shipping when I shouldn't. PrestaShop™ 1.5.3. Whatever shipping module it came with. I plan on buying a shipping module but I want to test it live for a couple of weeks before I commit to PrestaShop. I have my shipping weight range set for 0 to 1.0000 pound and the cost is set to $5. I have the next range set from 1.001 to 5.000 pounds. I have several products are set at a weight of 1.000 pound. When I place any of the products that weight 1 pound in the Shopping Cart it shows Free Shipping. Adding a second product (most times) that pushes it over 1 lb it shows the proper postage, but a couple of combos it would show Free Shipping again. I have read all the help files. Triple checked everything and I can't find any reason. Just for kicks I changed the weight range I set for 0 to 1.0000 pounds to 0 to 1.001 pounds and now it works. So it has something to do with the max 1 pound and the shipping weight being 1 pound. I AM STUMPED!!
parsifal
Have a look here, at the very end of the page: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Managing+Shipping Make sure to have the ranges overlap! Therefore, the "To" value of a range should be equal to the "From" value of the next one. For instance, if one range ends at 20 kg, the next one should start at 20 kg too. Likewise, if you have to add a range before one that starts at 20 kg, the new one should end at 20 kg.
Kudzu
Very interesting! That totally contradicts the documentation in the Help File in the software! Make sure to not have the ranges overlap! Therefore, the "To" value of a range should not be equal to the "From" value of the next one. For instance, if one range ends at 20 kg, the next one should start at roughly 20.001 kg. Likewise, if you have to add a range before one that starts at 20 kg, the new one should end roughly at 19.999 kg. That is why I did mine the way I did. And the images in my version, 1.5.3.1 , are different than what is shown in your example. Thanks. I will put in Maintenance mode and try it one morning. Hi there I am looking for a solution for myself and read your question... Don't know if you sorted the shipping out, but are the carriers all ' activated ' in the product listing?
