Product Images Not Displaying

I have installed the new version of PrestaShop to my hosting using the auto installer provided by the hosting company 123reg.

 

Have started adding products but I cannot get the images to display. I have tried regenerating thumbnails a few times but that does not seem to do anything.

 

The site is http:www.buzzcomms.co.uk

 

Does anyone have any ideas? Am completely stuck!

Thanks, have checked and the permissions are 755 on those folders, any other ideas?

Really seems like a permission issue. When trying to access a picture i get a permission denied error. For example:

http://www.buzzcomms.co.uk/28-home_default/cradlepoint-2g3g-4g-router.jpg

 

• Does the folder /img/p/2/8/ also have the permission 755?
• Does the problem disappear if you give it (and the files in it) permission 777 ?(just for testing, don't leave it like that).

Are the permissions recursive for all subfolders of img?

Thanks guys, I have gone down to file level and change permissions on the folders and files, to 755 and its working now.

 

Is there an option somewhere to set permissions when adding a new product?

I don't think you'll find this option in the Prestashop Backoffice. I'd say your webhost has to change the preferences for your site somehow.
