Where are customer customisation files stored?

After customers have uploaded an image for a product customisation (and it's no longer required), where would I access the files and safely delete them?

 

I would have thought it would be an obvious feature to be able to remove these (at the press of a button in the back office) all files older than a certain date, otherwise these will just stockpile...
