Olavi Näkkäri
Hi! I installed this free Direct Deposit prepay module from Aivomatic Oy: http://www.aivomatic.com/prestashop/ennakkomaksu/amcpsddpp It works pretty good with one obvious flaw. It uses Bankwire e-mail template, but the e-mail it sends to a customer only has these lines: Please note that you have selected to pay by bank wire. Please send your wire to : {bankwire_owner} {bankwire_details} {bankwire_address} Order total amount is {total_paid} It should send at least our name, total sum and all the necessary bankwire details. What should I do?
Olavi Näkkäri
Update, It actually uses it's own email template that was generated during the install. I should use the modules own email template because it show more information and all the info is required. It still sends this blank email: Direct bank deposit information Receiver's name receiver_name Receiver's bank account number account_number Bank name bank_name Due date due_date Bank reference number: bank_reference Order total: order_total International bank contact information IBAN iban_number BIC bic_code
benjamin utterback
The email is not sending correctly? Are your other emails sending okay? It could be a problem with the module.
Olavi Näkkäri
Other emails are working correctly. Even the "awaiting bankwire transfer" email is otherwise correct and shows the shop name and the customer name. There's no other problems with the emails. The module is working OK, it shows the right info after confirming the payment option and the order. It show bank name, account holder, bank reference etc. It's just the email that is sent to customer that is'nt working
benjamin utterback
If the e-mail is not being sent correctly, that's part of the module function. Are you able to get in contact with the developer of the module, maybe they are aware of the problem and have a fix for it. Also, what template are you using? Default? Olavi Näkkäri
The developer hasn't answered me yet. I have sent him an email about the issue. I'm using this theme but highly modified: http://prestastyle.com/2012-04-14/clean-simple-free-prestashop-theme/ The them isn't compatible with PS 1.5 so I'm using PS 1.4.9. If I remember correctly the module should be compatible with 1.4.9. I know the problem is propably somewhere in the module, but if someone has good tips, I'm willing to try them. I'm not good with coding and have been working with this shop for two months now. This is one of the last things to get in order before I can open launch it. It would be a total bummer if I have to throw away all my work because of this.
benjamin utterback
That's true, I would try it on a new install with the default template, that way you can tell for sure if it's the modules problem or another problem related to theme customization. Wouldn't be a bad idea to turn on Error reporting and go through the checkout process, but I'm not sure anything would show up, it'll be worth it to try those things first. Because it is a third party module, I won't be able to help facilitate support from the developer. Hopefully he can answer soon.
Olavi Näkkäri
Thanks, I'll report back to this topic if I can solve the problem.
Olavi Näkkäri
Ok, I'll bump this again even though I haven't solved the problem and the developer has not contacted me back. I would need to install this module, because it generates a bank reference number in the way that is mandated by Finnish law, so I can not use what ever numbers I feel like. If I install the prestashop default bank wire module and restrict it to EU only what kind of reference number it generates? I assume it's not comaptible with finnish regulations, but is there a way to use it and make it to use reference numbers that I have generated earlier?
