[solved] No short or long description

Hi, I've just installed my second installation of Prestashop 1.5.4.1. My 1st is up and running fine.

this installation is run separate from my first and I am having a problem I didn't have on the first install.

I have stripped back all the items on the standard installed software and changed currency to GBP.

 

I have entered a few products but when I view them on the shop there are no short or long descriptions.

 

I tried flushing the cache thingy but still nothing.

 

Can anyone help pweese

1) make sure that you added descriptions to the correct language (in back office > products > edit)

2) you use default template?

The language it correct, after each box I have the little GB flag. I used, as you suggest 'Back Office' > 'Products' then Edit.

 

I don't have a template I just did my first product, then I was going to use the Duplicate facility to put the rest of my products on as they are very similar (Wax Tarts)

 

the short and long descriptions are there on the Back office when I edit the product, but not on the shop front. weird :/

It seems to have fixed itself. I didn't do anything to it. But its now sorted, thanks.
