Testing mailalerts

First of all , i'm using prestashop 1.3

Hi there! i'm working on a site which is on air right now, but i have to modify something.

I translated the mailalerts module in my language so now i want to test it. Single way to do this is to order something, if you want to order something you have to be registered then logged in. So there's the fun part! i have a top menu when it's says authentification (when u acces it you can registered too). So if i want to access the authentification page , i'm redirected on the original website which is on air! I'm redirected because the module which display the List menu links from top is this:

Well i managed to registered via panel admin because you have a there ADD NEW MEMBER , but i can't order . I tried to change that url , to my local server but it doesn't work.I tried with a virtual host too but still nothing. Any suggestions ?
