Ralf Skirr
When searching for product reference the search doesn't find products when the reference starts with 0. Example: A product with no. 822 will be found. A product with no. 0822 won't be found. Is there any way to fix this? (I'm using Prestashop 1.4.8.) RogueWaveLimited
The search is considering the reference field to be a text field. So it takes the leading zero as an integral part of the reference. If you want to change this you will need to modify the search code.
Ralf Skirr
Thanks for your reply. So it takes the leading zero as an integral part of the reference. No idea what this means. If you want to change this you will need to modify the search code. Any tip hpw to do this and where the search code is located would be great. RogueWaveLimited
It means that the search engine takes "0822" as a text string not a number 822. Just like it would not find "0ABC" if you search for "ABC".
