need help, strange problem when associating a product to more than 500 categories

Hi there,

 

I have an important issue and dont know why it's happening...

 

I have a prestashop with a laaaarge number of categories ( more than 20.000 ). Everything working fine.

 

However, last week I was trying to associate a product to a large amount of categories ( around 1000 ), but this gives me the following problem:

 

- I choose the 1000 desired categories, and click on "save & stay", but then, browser jumps to the "product list " admin view... I click again on the product and the categories association hasn't been saved.... or just half of it, like 400 ...

- I choose another 200, etc... and finally I reach 940 categories associations, but I can't associate the product with any more...

 

 

Don't know why this happends. Shop is working all fine, except this. My server is running with max_memory: 256Mb & max_execution_time:3600.

 

Any idea?

Try to increase your max_input_vars value

Thanks for the answer, I have max_input_vars= 10000 on php.ini, do u think it could not be enough ? I have like 22.000 categories, 4000 products. prestashop 1.5
