CSV import product characteristics

Hi,

 

I tried to import products with a Csv file in Prestashop 1.5.4.1

All fields of my products are imported as I want but I have a problem with characteristics.

 

In fact only 2 of 10 characteristics are imported. Here you can find my file :

I don't understand why only 2 of 10 characteristics are imported while all the other fields are imported.

By characteristics, do you mean attributes (features) ?

Otherwise I have no idea what caracteristics could mean

I see why, you'll need to import them all at once! What this means - in the AD2 field, put there this code

=O2&","&P2&","&Q2&","&R2&","&S2&","&T2&","&U2&","&V2&","&W2&","&X2&","&Y2&","&Z2&","&AA2&","&AB2&","&AC2

 

Simply double click the dot in the right bottom corner, so this code applies to all lines.

OR I've attached this file :-) Simply download it - to see what I mean. I don't know if it will work, because of the formating, I can't see french symbols the right way.

I had to upload the file as .txt, but it will work the same way.

I have tried to export from the back office all the products and the csv file does not match with the product data (name=reference, categorie=price, etc.)!!!!

Is it a problem from last version of Prestashop?

I do not have so much experience with the new export feature of Prestashop, but I'd guess this is not the problem of the latest version. This export is just a simple one, without attributes or image export. Try downloading this one, though I have not yet tried to export products with attributes..

Hi,

 

I have an other problem with the import. When data is imported if I modify a product the characteritics of the other products are erased. As if data was imported but not saved.

 

Title, price, description, catégories are saved, only some of the characteristics are erased.

Do you have an idea of the problem?

You can find in the Back Office in section "import" examples of CSV files.
