newberryt
Hello Everyone, Like so many others I'm new to Prestashop, and having issues with multistore config. Not to beat around the bush I'll get to the point. With a fresh install of 1.5.4.1 when creating a textbook muiltstore according the the manual the multistore site open with text only on the left side. It's as if the Theme and images are not populating for the multistore. It doesn't matter how many I create, or if I re install Prestashop, it's always the same with out fail. Please can someone help me, I'm not someone to ask for help, as I've been working on this for days strait. I'm attaching my mutistore link below. http://www.familyitstore.com/theponds/
Alex Simonchik BelVG
Hi, you have broken links to css files: http://www.familyitstore.com/theponds/themes/default/css/grid_prestashop.css , etc. but this file can be read from http://www.familyitstore.com/themes/default/css/grid_prestashop.css There is the great article about manage multistore configuration: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Managing+multiple+shops Regards
vekia
it looks like css / htaccess issue with urls, try to regenerate the .htaccess file under the preferences > SEO & urls just turn on url rewritting, then turn it of (don't forget to reload your store front page)
newberryt
Alexander Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I can see now what the problem is, however after reading the article I still do not see how I can effect the links to the css file in Advance Parameters / Multistore. Unfortunately I need a little more guidance.

vekia
hello is hard to say what's going on in your store without additional info about configuration of your stores, prestashop version, templates that you use etc. can you shed some light on this? kendonpark
I was having a problem with 404 errors on add on store URLs and was advised to turne off and on multistore function after which nothing but text appeared on the add on store URLs. I saw another post about misconfigured URLs and realized that I had done the same thing that many others have. I did not think that I was using Virtual URLs so I entered the installation folder name as well as the add on store folder name in the Physical URL field leaving the Virtual URL field blank. I reconfigured correctly with the installation folder name in the Physical URL field and the add on store folder name in the Virtual URL field and it works correctly. I think the the installation guide is confusing on this topic for many of us and though there are many posts on the topic I have yet to find a post with the detailed correction. My misunderstanding has taken me two weeks to figure out. But it is all good as I have learned a lot!
