Import: "Force all ID's during import?" Auto-increment doesn't work

Hi,

 

Can anyone explain how that option "Force all ID's during import?" works? Seems it rewrites already existing ID's anyway - if it has been setted or not. Or even

 

I thought if we leave that option empty, then ID's fields in import-csv will not be applyed. And if there is some error/warning during import we can see ID from file to verify what row is wrong.

 

If ID in import file is EMPTY then auto-increment works well. But all errors look starts the same "(ID: ) cannot be saved"

How can I verify to what row error related?
