Cristián
HI!...I'm working on a e-commerce site with Prestashop. My client sells tours, and the problem (obviously), is that there's no shipping needed. How can I turn off the shipping "module"? FULLY from the front-office, back-office, check out... and so on...I've searched everywhere on the web, forum, etc. but there's not straight answer.Thanx!... rocky
There is no way to fully disable shipping in the Back Office. I had the same problem with my site, since all my products will be downloadable, so no shipping fee is required. My solution was to created one carrier that applies to all zones that has no shipping or handling cost. I then modified line 94 of order.php to change displayCarrier() to displayAddress(), then changed the previous link on line 24 of order-payment.tpl to order?step=1. This will make Prestashop simply skip the carrier step. I had to modify the steps graphic as well to remove the carrier step.

rocky
Hi Cristián,I don't understand why it isn't working for you. Can you send me the two modified files so I can investigate?Rocky
Geunix
Hi, rocky,I had the same problem. Instead of changing line 94 to displayAddress(), you may try to change it into displayPayment()since you want to go further towards the Payment step. It worked for me.Cheers!
