Migrated store but some product images changed dir folder

I migrated my store, but some images changed their dir, I don't know how this could happen. For example, the original dir for one product was:

img/p/251-medium.jpg 

but when I migrated it, the dir changed to:

img/p/2/5/1/251-medium.jpg

and that directory or file doesn't exist. Any idea on how to fix this migration issue? it's like the image number splts into sub folders.

When I first migrated the store everything worked fine. But I migrated the database for the second time and that's when the issue happened. I migrated the databse 3 times already. I removed the htaccess code, also disabled friendly url but nothing.

Hello, you have removed the htaccess code manually? Make sure you have a backup and try and change the image file system in your Perferences/Images tab from your Back-Office.
