retain separator in products reference indexation

Hi.

 

I have separators in products reference (p.e. XX/999.99.999)

 

Actualy it's not possible to make a search in front office because the index process cut it in 4 words XX 999 99 and 999.

 

So I thing it's possible to overide the corresponding class.

 

Somebody have a notion, what class is using by the indexation process ?

I couldn't reproduce it on 1.5.4.1. I added the reference to a product as "XX/999.99.999" and search can properly find it. Anyway, The method handling the queries is Search::find() in PS/classes/Search.php and it is called from SearchController::initContent() in PS/controllers/front/SearchController.php, so you could probably locate the source of your problem there.
