ziggy Posted July 30, 2009 Share Posted July 30, 2009 Hi i have launched a site which i am at the moment happy with please see link below...i will re-skin it at a later date...i have entered text to appear in the home page using the text editor, in english it appears fine and as desired, but when you use the language convertor at the top of page to view in French it does not convert it to French, it still has the placeholder text ..Lorem ipsum dolor sit ametConsectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquaLorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur a...etcany ideas...please see in action live on site...www.vintagemagazinecompany.comthere is also another problem to do with duplicating records and then changing the the contents to speed up record creation.... if i am listing a run of magazines and duplicate the first entry record then edit the duplicated record to i.e change the image or issue number price etc ... it changes the details in english but not when viewed in french, not normally a problem but google seems to be only indexing the french translations of my site....anyone experienced these problems....
