how to rewrite url in htaccess - PS 1.5.4

Hi guys

 

I want to turn /index.php?id_category=3&controller=category&id_lang=1 into /ipod.html

 

I just want to write it manually as I have few items in the shop, and altogether few pages in the whole website

 

I can't find a way to do this in htaccess through a RewriteRule

 

What is the exact syntax to rewrite urls manually in htaccess ?

If you want to redirect one url to another url permenently, this rule will help !!

 

RedirectMatch 301 URL1 URL2

Basically, I'm not trying to redirect, but to rewrite, as I need to change the url of one single page

Hi again, tested but can't tell as it has no effects at all

 

nothing seems to have any effect when I modify the htaccess, as if anything I change/add is totally ignored by Prestashop

I have a doubt about the way the urle's are registered in sitemap file.

I am using 1.5.4.0 since two dayes without problemes.

A sample of a rewritten url in the site is:

http://perledeproven...ille-shampoings

This is correct but a sample of a url in sitemap file is the following:

http://perledeproven...troller=product

This leads tot a 404 not found page !

Please avice!
