Maury Markowitz Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 I have a blocktopmenu that consists mostly of links to static pages (about us, etc.). But I would also like to make similar one-click links to various parts of my catalog. Better yet, I'd like to use friendly URLs for this. This would seem to be easy, but it's not... when I click into my catalog I always get the "unfriendly" URL in the menu bar. I think I am missing some key bit of ah-ha, but in the meantime... If I know my category path is Home->Products, how do I make a static link to that page? And how do I link to a category so subcategories appear in a drop down? Now I have a non-terrible URL, but I'm still very confused about drop-down menus. Can I only have drop-downs using the internal categories?
