Please Help Me With Multi Store 1.5.3

Dear sir/madam..

 

I am fed up with Multistore Function ...Please kindly help me..

 

What Exactly I want: ?

 

1. I want to creat a website with 30 catalogs i.e. a website which have 30 countries each country pointing to seperate SHOP..

 

Like www.mydomain.com/india/

www.mydomain.com/china/

www.mydomain.com/japan/

www.mydomain.com/usa/

 

under each country page i want seperate category blocks ...

 

In www.mydomain.com i want default category block with country names...if we click on each category it should redirect to www.mydomain.com/countryname...which i know how to do using virtual url pointing..

 

What Exactly I DID: ?

 

1. i have installed prestashop 1.5.3

2. Enabled Multistore function

3. Changed Names of Catgeories in www.mydomain.com to Country names instead o default demo categories Ipods, Accessories etc..,

4. now i have created NEW SHOP under default Store Group giving following details

a) Shop name - India

Shop Group - Default

c) Root Category - India (I have made renamed Catgeory INDIA as root category under catalog - Categories)

d) Associated Category - Same India Category

e) Theme - default theme

 

f) Import data from another shop - i have selected all options but the following options are hidden why i dont know!!! Please check the files attached..

• Available quantities for sale
  
• Combinations
  
• Discount
  
• Images
  
• Products
  

g) If i choose category root as HOME then every option is visible inclusing above..

h) Now after saving the new shop .. i have to give Url ..Which i gave as follows

i) I kept in the place of Virtual URL as 3-india so the FInal URL became as

 

wwww.mydomain.com/3-india

 

Where "3-india" is the firendly url of category ipods(which i changed it to Country name before)

 

 

 

What Exactly My Problem & Solution I need ?

 

1. Now everythign is good ..i have following problems

• All images including Logo, etc.., are not visible under new shop created
  
• Even after regnerating images and even after uploading images also they are not visible..
  
• But product prices and other things are visible..everythign is fine except images
  
• Also i want to know where can i find folder for new shop like img, modules etc for new shop..
  

2. please help me to acheive this or please if soem enthusiastic is there can soem one install the same what i did and can help me to acheive this.

 

3. Please inform me if somethign else is needed.

Domain: www.mydomain.com

DOMAIN SSL: www.mydomain.com

Physical URI: (SAME AS YOU MAIN DOMAIN)

VIRTUAL URI: china/

 

this gives you your final url:

www.mydomain.com/china/

 

the problem (dirty secret) of this type of set up, is duplicate content. You are using the same .com which is a gTLD, for all shops...you may want to consider using ccTLD's.
