Dropdown Menu Text And Background Both White

Re posted as i really do hope to get some help on this as site is useless like this

Purchased an official prestashop theme and got following problems.

 

So lots of visitors and adding to cart and going to payment page then just one purchase in 3 months!

So i looked for reasons

Found it. incredably the OFFICIAL prestashop theme has more bugs than an alley cat

Firstly when you go to page to add date of birth etc, the text is same colour as background. ?????

WTF? Same with other drop down select menus on their.

It also runs much slower than other prestashop versions, if it went any slower it would be going back in time.

But main issue is its impossible to change easily the text colour in these drop down menus easily, i tried for over a month now, yes cashe is turned off whilst i try and test it.

Hi,

It looks like your theme is not 100% compatible with your prestashop's version.

Especially in front javascript.

However i would first go in BO to edit the only active country you let active (england afaik) , and un check 'this country uses states'.

Dunno what you initend to do with states but at least you shoulp try to disable them for one test.

 

Which highlighted that problem also, as states is turned off

 

Thats an additional problem, states show up even thou set as not in BO. although just a - sign.

However the real issue is the problem with text. It does not show up against the white boxes as text is white also.

Honestly when you pay that much money for themes you expect them to work properly. Thats a school boy error and unforgiveable. I also purchased for correct version and have not updated as that could cause issues.

Thats another problem, if anyone is thinking about purchasing a template, it only lasts a few weeks.

I am on my third template now, the others become useless each time prestashop gives a new version which happens several times a year.

Also can not upgrade from current prestashop version to latest using autoupgrade mod, an error comes up which on doing a search i find many others have also got, any update on that

Force is off, but seems slower at peak times, shared server does not help, but code could be written better too.

However its the white text in white drop down box thats main issue right now, along with autoupgrade as i think autoupgrade might if it allows the upgrade speed the site up, as i think improvements have been made in the code.,

Prestashop is my preffered software as i know my way around it, but when its faulty it can be a frustrating nightmare.

Can anyone help? Is something missing when installing theme that did not change text colour? Is it an error in software of theme?

Well i contacted prestashop addons from whom i purchased the theme.

They just do not reply to email, so i sent email about purchasing a theme and wow very quick reply.

So it seems they sell a theme, but do not care if it works or not, ignore you if it doesnt and you ask for help.

All i need is to change text colour in drop down box in quick order, instructions will do. Where the code is and what to change.

Theme is useless without this as customers can not see text when adding their details as its same colour as background. Surely someone knows how to fix it.?
