AFemaleProdigy
I have noticed on my 1.4.7.3 store, when a customer uses the Paypal API module and their payment cannot be processed because it was declined, they just get redirected back to the summary page and no explanation for the dedirect is given. My customers are getting very confused because they do not know if the payment was processed, declined, or why it was declined. It seems to me that some sort of message of decline should be given. Anyone have a solution for this? Edited March 7, 2013 by AFemaleProdigy (see edit history)

AFemaleProdigy
I have not found a solution and also noticed this is a problem for the Authorize.net module as well. I have my AVS filter set up in my Auth.net account. People keep triggering AVS and payments get declined for various reasons. The customer gets redirected back to a previous page, with no notification as to what just happened. So I am getting a lot of people asking me if my website just scammed them, if the payment went through, why did it not go through, etc. This is a big problem considering most customers would correct the problem and reorder if they knew what was happening. But they don't know, so they just leave. I am losing a lot of sales because of this. And again, not getting any response here on this forum.
