Images problems

Recommended Posts

Your theme was built on previous version of prestashop so all your template files looking for images without default preference.

In your back office go to preferences -> images and duplicate all the list without "_default" so you will have:

small_default & small, large_default & large .... etc..... make sure you duplicate the preferences from each one.

after you finish scroll down the page and press regenerate thumbnails. clear your browser cache (ctrl + f5 three times).

and see if its working

You main problem is that your theme wasn't made for version 1.5.

now.... you can fix it with some css modification.

but you need to start by changing the images sizes to match your theme requirements.

each image has its own size to fit in your theme.

do you have any document from your theme?

do you have a link to a demo site of that theme?

Go to Preferences > Products

Set Enable JqZoom instead of Thickbox on product page to "YES"

The theme is designed for prestashop v1.5.0.17 - It will be a little work but you should

Install that version 1.5.3.0.17 of PS

Then install the theme

Then upgraded to PS v1.5.3.1

It will work much better.

But the default images will need to be changed with your own product images. The default images do not fit that theme.

For now start by adding these images name & sizes in your Back office -> preferences -> images and regenerate images once you finish.

  1. small = 71 x 91
  2. home = 228 x 291
  3. carusel = 145 x 186
  4. medium = 71 x 91
  5. larg-mini = 95 x 121
  6. large = 304 x 388
  7. home-list = 210 x 268

After that I will try to help you, if you have issess
