scorptech
Hi, I noticed that the Prestashop demo has a quick order link when you click on the checkout button. This displays the product and shipping only which is what I want rather than having the tax showing which I tried to get rid of and it will not go. I also found a bug where it puts €2 Euros in shipping even when there is no shipping. So if anyone knows how to setup the quick order checkout, please let me know. Thanks Scorptech
benjamin utterback
Hi scorptech, The quick order link I believe is actually the Guest Checkout? You can turn on that setting in Preferences>Orders The handling charge is not a bug, it is set up by default under Shipping>Shipping look at "Handling Charge"
scorptech
Hi Benjamin, Thank you for your reply and helping me with the handling charge. That sorted that problem out. :-) The other problem is a bit more difficult. I really want to stop the following fields from being displayed on the checkout page:- Total (tax excl.): Total tax: All I want is the cost of the item (tax included) and the shipping, nothing else. Having the tax included means that if the tax rate changes, all you have to do is change the rate and not every product in the shop which is a great idea and time saver! Now when I select "Do Not Display Tax In Cart" it does nothing. So I thought by having the quick check out like the demo site, I could get around this, but even with the quick check out (which was not the same file being loaded as the demo) it still shows these two fields. Having tried about 5 different popular shopping carts, I do think that Prestashop is the best for the job. I'm hoping to be able to use this if I can get around these minor tweeks. Thanks Scorptech
scorptech
Hi, If anyone actually knows the above information, I would appreciate it if they would tell me how to remove the Total (tax excl.) Total Tax:. This is the last obstacle that I need to remove to actually start using Prestashop. Regards Scorptech
