1-click upgrade module (0.9.4) not functioning as expected

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm running into some problems when trying to use the 1-click upgrade module to upgrade from 1.5.2 to 1.5.3 and was wondering if anyone experienced the same or recognizes the issue.

Context:

  • Current prestashop version: 1.5.2 (trying to upgrade to 1.5.3)
  • Current 1-click upgrade module: 0.9.4
  • All caching disabled
  • Shop in maintenance
  • Pre-upgrade checklist all green
  • 1-click upgrade page looks completely fine (all information there)
  • No customization except small differences in front-end theme (from default, but stored in separate theme folder) and shop configuration

On the 1-click upgrade page, when trying to:

  • Change backup-options and click save, I get a 404 error (prestashop 404)
  • Change upgrade-options and click save, I get a 404 error (prestashop 404)
  • Click on the "Refresh the page" button, I get a 404 error (prestashop 404)
  • Click on the "Upgrade prestashop now" button, the upgrade starts but at some point returns a null array error (sorry, don't have the exact error anymore) This breaks the back-end, a filesystem restore fixed it.

Anyone an idea? I can get the exact upgrade error if necessary...

Yup, I manually updated without issues. I used this procedure.

Update went completely fine, but I still have the same errors in the module on prestashop 1.5.3 :) So will probably have to keep upgrading manually unless someone has a solution or root cause.

Note that I have a very small shop (in development), I didn't do this on a production shop.
