I am the owner of a couple small companies, one of which we are trying to launch using PrestaShop as our platform. Recently, we were performing some back office maintenance and all of a sudden our front and back office went to a blank white screen. Nothing worked. So, after several days of trying to find the problem, a friend of ours found that the settings.inc.php file had been erased. The file was still present in the config folder but it had nothing in it. It appears it had been erased of its contents. After reloading a saved copy of the file, we were able to get everything back up again. There were some issues with the front office but we were able to fix those. But, to our dismay, it happened again. There doesn't seem to be anything that specifically causes this issue. It seems to be almost random? I've been told there could be some permissions issues that could cause this. But, we are still at a stand still and have no idea what to do.
