Zulan
Hello! I have been using prestashop for several years now upgrading now and then, each time with new headaches. This time, it totally failed, I was going to upgrade from 1.4.9 to 1.5.2.0 and all kinds of funny stuff started to happen. I've also I had quite a few things coming with me as I upgraded before, like stock count that doesnt work and so on. My thought is to start from scratch. So I have a partially working 1.4.9.0 installation and a brand new 1.5.2.0. Now I would like to move my products and customers to the new installation without moving all of the funny behaviours of my old site. I have seen some export to csv stuff but that only seems to be regarding the products, what about all my customers and order data? Is there a tool that can help or do I need to export it using phpmyadmin or something? If so, what do I need to move? Thanks for listening. mohsart
Did the upgrade work in so that you managed to get the customers etc into the upgraded version? If so, you could export from the upgraded version, then make a new installation and import into that. Edit: Or, install a fresh 1.4.9 and import into that, then upgrade /Mats Edited December 28, 2012 by mohsart (see edit history)
Zulan
Hello, no the upgrade didnt work. I had to create a brand new site. But now my customers cant log in. I have tried changing the cookie key and IV but that doesnt help, then no one can log in. I have check the hash in the db and they are the same on both databases.
