Can't Login for Registered Customer

Recommended Posts

Hi Valerie,

My shop is set up as oharaflorist.com and without the www. When I go into subdomains, I do see the www and it won't allow me to delete it.

You can go to oharaflorist.com and on the top, there's a LOGIN. You can try using "[email protected]" and password "123456789" (without the quote, of course)

From the top following LOGIN, you'll go to /authentication and then blank page

If you add any item into shopping cart, check out, and click on the bottom LOGIN, it pops out a window on the error as posted earlier.

elpatron, thanks. I have turned on the error reporting by...

/* Debug only */

@ini_set('display_errors', 'on');

define('_PS_DEBUG_SQL_', true);

I am using PS 1.49

The site is not showing error

I can not even connect to the site now. Have you talked with your webhosting company?

also is this a fresh install of 1.4.9.0 or did you upgrade...what is the site history (what did you do?)

elpatron, the site is oharaflorist.com and I am connecting to it right now without any issues.

This is an upgrade from PS 1.4.4. Previously I bought some module that required upgrading, and I tried upgrading it to PS 1.5.2 but then the whole site was down, so I restored it back to PS 1.4.4 (from the backup I have created), and then upgraded it to PS 1.4.9 (while I am installing PS 1.5.2 on my laptop).

Ever since then I have this issue.

It wasn't connecting earlier and now I get the 500 error without message.

I can only assume that you turned off the error reporting...note you don't need to turn on sql reporting just this in config/config.inc.php

@ini_set('display_errors', 'on');

you must get the error to know how to fix...

elpatron, I have turned off the sql reporting but the display errors is still set to on. So far I have tried loading the site either oharaflorist.com or www.oharaflorist.com and it showed no 500 error. It loads without a problem.

I was received the 500 errros when trying to log into an account I created.

ok, I now have the error when authentication

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class CompareProductCore in /home/oharaflo/public_html/override/classes/CompareProduct.php on line 0

It would appear that you have loaded a module that installed a class override in override/classes/CompareProduct.php

you should uninstall this module (if that is what created it), check that override/classes/CompareProduct.php (make sure module deleted the class override) and if not then delete it (back it up first).

Honestly had you just hired someone to start off, cost you like 20 euros...this would have been fixed long ago

I have checked and I don't see any module that I have installed that has the compare products. Anyway, I am deleting the CompareProduct.php and let's see how it goes.

The history of the site is long. In summary, I wasn't the person who did it. The person who helped the site owner left and not contactable, and so the site owner came to me. As a friend, I am helping him out.

I have no idea how the override folder was created in the first place. What I am doing now is installing PS 1.5.2 on my laptop and then transfer the theme and the the purchase module over and test it locally... hopefully that will work

the problem is solved yes?

and installing 1.5.2 is leading to disaster...given that 1.5.3.1 is out....and I do not see why that would have anything to do with the original problem.

good luck
