Google Analytics for 1.4.9 not working

everything seems good, the right ID is there. i configured the module (fairly easy) and on top of that i've already done it for 20 other sites. this one doesnt wanna work, google analytics says that the tracking is not installed.

 

any ideas?

Did you force compile your site and clear the sites cache?

I Did. force compile is on. cache is off. I even manually deleted cache files from /themes/THEME/cache

 

When I look at the source of my homepage, everything shows up right.

if your source code shows up correctly, then you must have mis-configured your google webmaster tools...google must be looking for a different id...

Google webmaster tools? The accounts are linked...Here are screenshots to prove it. What's wierder is that there is data since I set this up yesterday in google analytics. Yet it still says tracking has not been installed.

Sometimes it errors on googles side like that. I had a site that had that message for like 3 or 4 days, yet it was returning data also. Give it a day or two and see what happens.
