Hi,

Most of it you can do yourself very easily.

 

Go to your back office.

Go to modules tab (menu) and choose positions.

 

On the right, you see a button "Run LiveEdit"

 

This will open a new window where you see your shop-front, but you can move the diverse modules around, or delete them if whished to do so by clicking on the trash can. (N.B. you don't delete the modules entirely, only the position on the page. You can re-add them later when needed)

 

So here you can delete your newsletterblock, advertisingblock, etc

 

The footer block needs to be disabled in a slightly different way.

Again, go to the the modules tab (menu) and click positions:

 

Scroll down a little and look for the block 'footer' (displayfooter) (about 31st block in the list).

Here you will see a couple of modules coupled to the footer block, like categories block, CMS block, social block, block reinsurance, my account block on footer.

What we want is to 'unhook' these modules from the footer.

To do this, click on all trash cans next to the modules shown here in this footer block, to delete the link to the footer (Don't worry, The modules themselves won't be deleted, you can always re-hook them back when needed) Only the datamining module you can keep here, as it doesn't show any visible info in the footer.

 

(N.B. Notice that the modules here don't disappear from the footer list. But reload your front office (your shop) and you see that the Footer will be emptied and disappear.)

 

N.B.2: Another way to get rid of most blocks in the footer is to go to the modues list and 'disable' the modules mentioned in the footerlist above. Only the Categories you might want to keep, so that will then show in the footer. The First method (i.e. 'trash' in footer block) takes care of this problem. Here the modules are 'unhooked' from the footer, so they won't be displayed in the footer anymore)

 

Leaves you with only the cart in the top. This I think need some changes in the source code. Maybe you dicide you can live with this block here...

Oh, your logo you can easily change yourself as well. Make your logo (consider png file, with transparent background, but jpeg/gif will also work). Login to your back office, click the 'preferences' tab (menu) and select 'Themes' menu item.

 

Scroll down until you see the Header logo field.

Click browse, browse to your logo file on your computer, select the file and press the 'Open' button.

then press 'save'

 

N.B. if you use a .png file you might want to change a setting first:

Go to preferences tab (menu) and click on the 'Images' menu item

scroll down and select 'Image quality' the option 3: use PNG for all images

 

That should do the trick.

P.S. To turn off the quick search box, go to your Modules tab (menu) and clickModules menu item.

Here locate 'quick search block' module and click on 'disable'
