Problems with categories

Hello,

 

my question may look very easy to others, but to me, who I am new to prestashop, is giving real headaches. This is why I would apreciate if you can answer me like to a newbie, with every step that I need to make.

 

The prestashop version is 1.4.3 and I cannot update, since is not my website. until couple of days ago, in category pages, it showed the products, but today it doesn't work anymore. For example, on category "X" it showed only products from that category, with images and prices. While I was trying to solve it, I was thinking that, if I would reset the blockcategory module, it will be all ok. But it wasn't... And now it shows the links of all categories.

 

Any suggestions?
