Search not working

Hi, our website search is not work on the front end of the website, in the back office it works fine but in the front office it just shows no results.

 

I have read other posts about creating a search index or rebuilding it and I ahve tried this several times, it shows 924/924 products in the index but still no results in front end when searching.

 

I have tried turning on/off ajax and instant search, again this makes no difference.

 

Please help....

1) What version do you use?

2) Do you use the overrited controller?

3) What is your "Minimum word length" value?

4) Check your "_search_word". It must contain some vaules.

1) it is version 1.4.4.0

2) not sure what that is?

3) was 3 but I changed to 1 to see if that made a difference

4) ok this is weird, I have just checked and it has values but all the values are numbers?? so if I do a search on the website e.g. "001" then this is showing results.

Check your override/controllers and override/classes folder. What files does it contain?

Yes it really weird. Maybe some problem exists in your indexation() action.
