General Question "Download Products"

Hello, im new to Presta (generally im relativly new to e-Commerce-solutions). I looked arround, have done some testinstallations (zen-cart, OsCommerce, magento,) and now i found presta. A big compliment - i feel very well with prestashop.

Now the question, i have to realize the following thing: I only want to sell virtual products (downloads). so far no problem, but every "product" should be sold with 3 or 4 attributes (this means three or four different files). Is there a chance to define the downloadpath over attributes?

Hi Markus,

 

Unfortunately at this time, one cannot have several different variants of a virtual product. One must create a new product per file.

 

I've discussed this with Joël, who is in charge of developing virtual products, and we will consider such functionality for a future version of PrestaShop.

I am also looking for something along these lines...

I have two shops I am working on...

The first one wants to give discounts for buying several ebooks
ie:
Buy book 1 -> $10
Buy book 2 -> $10
Buy both books -> $15 (save $5)

I thought about using vouchers or attributes and attributes would be much easier...

The second shop sells photographs and in different sizes. In this case it would be good if I could use attributes that change the download package.

ie:
photo 1

pick size:
640x480 -> $10 --> downloads photo1_640x480.zip
800x600 -> $15 --> downloads photo1_800x600.zip
1024x768 -> $20 --> downloads photo1_1024x768.zip
1280x1024 -> $25 --> downloads photo1_1280x1024.zip


photo 2

pick size:
640x480 -> $10 --> downloads photo2_640x480.zip
800x600 -> $15 --> downloads photo2_800x600.zip
1024x768 -> $20 --> downloads photo2_1024x768.zip
1280x1024 -> $25 --> downloads photo2_1280x1024.zip
