I made HUGE editings and customizations to core functions and modules (obviously with overrides), and I would like to know if an update to the 1.5 version is going to affect my website discarding all the customizations. Radu Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 I am in a similar situation to you and I also studied all presta 1.5 documentation and ported a complex a module (that was developed for 1.4 and wasn't working anymore) to see in a practical way the changes required. They still keep compatibility logic with 1.4 but you can't base on it 100%, themes, controllers, admin, classes / table definitions, overrides, etc... a lot has changed and depending on your customization you might be lucky for a quick upgrade Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have been working on a 1.4.8.2 for months, so I wish the upgrade could not take a long time to have all the functionality I specifically programmed for my website...
