nish
My customer running Prestashop 1.4.9 is causing CPU usage to go over the allowed 75% limit every now and then. When it happens website is very slow and lose customers also result in other problems. We have done almost everything to resolve this issue and no luck. I have searched in the forum and seen few other Prestashop users had a similar issue but none of the threads has offered a correct solution to resolve this situation. Can anyone shed some light where to look and why category.php is using so much CPU ? Edited November 14, 2012 by nish (see edit history)

tiagomiranda
yes, replaced the category block with a HTML version Hi Nish, I'm having the same issue, but it seems a problem with my cart block. Do you have any idea of how I could replace it to a html version?
nish
you cant do that with cart block, but never heard / came across cart block causing this issue though ! What's your Prestashop version? Why not try to upgrade to latest 1.6, its looks very promising :-)
Dh42
@tiagomiranda Are you sure that is the module? It does not use that many sql calls. Have you turned on debug profiling?
