zekim Posted November 14, 2012 Share Posted November 14, 2012 Sorry for the duplicate posting, I initially posted this problem in the French Forum by mistake. I have recently upgraded my store from 1.4.7.3 to 1.4.9.0 to 1.5.2 in one hit. Everything went reasonable smoothly, until now. I am unable to update my products using the import CSV function in the BO. I have FTP'd the CSV file to the server successfully. However when I import the file through the BO the screen hangs for several minutes and then finally throws a "404 page not found". I have checked the database and the updates have not been imported. zekim Posted November 14, 2012 Author Share Posted November 14, 2012 Thanks Margo Doesn't appear to be the CHMOD settings on the IMPORT folder. However I did a test import of one product, it seems to have a mind of its own as it will update and on other occasions it doesn't and throws the 404 error. zekim Posted November 14, 2012 Author Share Posted November 14, 2012 I have just installed 1.5.2 as fresh install on a test server and also created a new database using the test data that is supplied with prestashop 1.5.2. I then imported amended test data, checked the database table for ps_product and found that the QTY data for all products is 0. however in the BO and FO it shows the updated qty's from the import. So basically in the database it has updated all the relevant tables but not qty where is the BO & FO pulling its data from? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After about 2 minuts program stops importing and shows error screen : Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request after login-on again only 229 products are imported. Split the import-file in 2 pieces, same problem, only a part of the file will be imported. Anyone any idea ?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ulisses Ramos Posted December 13, 2012 Share Posted December 13, 2012 CSV Import is broken on 1.5x. It´s been reported on forge on dozens of ocasions and they just don´t care. Search for CSV http://forge.prestashop.com/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa? here on 1.5x and see the quantity of reports made and how they where ignored.
