innocuous Posted November 9, 2012 Share Posted November 9, 2012 Hi, PS 1.52, default theme I didn't know about override feature of PS until lately. Till now I have modified a lot of module tpl /php files and even some classes directly in PS modules/classes folders. If I now copy them to override and theme/modules folders to enable overrides, will I be safe against future upgrades? Please remember that the original files have been modified already and are not the original PS 1.5.2 files. So in effect I will be copying modified files only. Also, if in future PS upgrades, the tpl files are modified (Code added or deleted by PS team) then how does overrides ensure that my code changes do not break? My modified tpl files will contain different coding than the new files in lots of places. If PS decides to change link structure or something else won't it break old code files?
