viktor89 Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 I am new to prestashop, so I am not fully aware of it's configurations. I want to implement version control with mercurial for my website, like I have it with others. So, when I install a copy of my live site onto my local MAMP server, which files needs to be modified in order for the shop to point to a local database? What changes should I make to the local database? Are there any site_url (or like that) options that I should take account for in order to make it run locally. Basically I'm looking to do what I can do with wordpress as described in their codex at http://codex.wordpress.org/Running_a_Development_Copy_of_WordPress I've been googling this alot, but haven't found anything useful yet.
