deonderd Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 Hi I changed my hosting domainname stayed the same now i made a fresh install with the latest version of PS How can i import settings and catalog and old orders from my older version of ps? I tried to export database.. and import it in the fresh install but that failed.. I tried to delete the database from fresh install and imported the database from the older version, failed also. so how can i recover catalog and setting from my old hosting and ps V4. to my new fresh install? grtz mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
a2hosting-andy Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 You won't be able to just copy from an old version of PrestaShop to a new version. You'll have to actually go through the upgrade process. I would recommend copying the entire installation (files, folder and database) from the old server to the new server, then following the procedures to update it to the newest version of PrestaShop.
