How Can I Make Some Products Viewable By Some People But Not Others

Hi,

 

I am sure this has been answered before, but I am not sure how to search for related posts.

 

I am setting up my first ever PrestaShop, and I'd like to be able to have some products that can be viewed (and purchased) only by certain people.

 

Specifically, I'd like to have three classes of people:

• Class A -- can see all products (must long in)

• Class B -- can see nearly all products (must log in)

• Class C -- can see only a few products (no need to log in)

 

How can I do this?

May be this would be something that you could use. Not sure if you've checked it out its at presto-changeo dot come and there's a private shop module that may work for what you're looking for and could possibly use.

It looks close -- I am guessing I'd still need to set up a multi-store situation, then use the Private Shop module on two of the stores... IF that is possible -- I've sent a note to the developer.

Our private shop supports 1.5 enable by shop...and uses native PrestaShop without any core changes. See my signature for link.

 

p.s. you can also do this in 1.4 using our reg or auth only module.

 

just set up a class for each group.

 

Note: all visitors would be required to login so the group is known

 

or you can use my 1.3 or 1.4 MultiShop, it comes with multishop one sitemap and product by domain modules free.
