braveman Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Dear Folks, I'm using Presta 1.4.8.2 on an apache server with PHP 5.2. My site contains Persian (UTF-8) characters, when I enable Friendly URL we confront a very confusing problem. URL contains UTF-8 characters rewrite logs shows rule matching and redirection but we confront a 301 loop in the browser. After hour of investigation we found presta compares canonival url's of products and url submited from browser (without decoding this URL) which never are equal in my case as the encoded url never mateches the canonical url so presta returns 301 moved. I altered the comparison and compare canonical url with decoded version of submited url and everything looks fine. Now i need to know is it a well knows issue or bug in Presta or simply is there any config for that as I cant accept no body confronts this situation as of now.
