Importing email contacs from Google mail into Prestashop

i have about 5000 contacts in gmail. I want to import them into Prestashop as customers to have the possibility to send them my newsletters. Is there a way to do this? I don't found a way to import them correctly. Hope soemebody can help. Thanks in advance

you can export contacts from gmail into file and import them in default import tool

you can export contacts as txt / csv file. Next you can use default import tool in prestashop "tools" tab in back office to import them into database.

Thanks, but it doesn't work. I have the problem, that the system wants a password for each user, but i don't have passwords in my google mail contacts. I think i am stupid Could you please explain me step by step what i have to do?

You must edit csv file and add to it new column with password. It's not as simple as it seems, because you must add hashed password there. Moreover, you must create hash for every user so it could be difficult with 5000 users in csv

 

Here is many solutions.

simplest one: You can create one hashcode and copy / paste it into pass column for every user
