alexafuentes
Hello everyone! I've noticed that Prestashop 1.5 is available. I've just finished my store using 1.4.8. Is it necessary to upgrade? I wouldn't like my store to become a disaster after upgrading, it was a lot of work. Thank you all! Patric
Hi alexafuentes, Only you can judge if this is necessary or not. If the features of your 1.4.8 shop are enough, then this may not be necessary. As mentioned in our blog : "it is strongly advised that you download, install and sample v1.5 locally before updating your live store. This way, you can take v1.5 out for a virtual test drive before deciding if its right for you and your business." Dh42
Give it a few months to mature to be stable. Also, if you are using 1.4.8.2 and authorize.net, upgrade to the newest auth.net module. The one that shipped with it has a security hole in it.
