KMiDigital
Hi, Is it possible to have just one carrier and one shipping cost. I want a shipping cost of £4.00 but for it to stay at £4 however many items are added to the basket, they are only light and this will cover all charges. Any help would be appreciated
tdr170
Just create one carrier with a price range of 0-10,000 and a weight range of 0-10,000, then under shipping, fees put $4.00 for that range and you should be good.

KMiDigital
Just tried it and it didn't work...still multiplying the shipping I have added a couple of images to illustrate.
tdr170
Ok two things first set the shipping cost to weight not price under shipping/billing (see first pic). Second under shipping/ carrier set apply shipping and handling to no and set billing to default behavior. Are you using a module or did you create this shipping method. Give these settings a try. KMiDigital
Tried what you advised but its still adding postage in multiples. I am using the default shipping module.
KMiDigital
Does anyone have a solution for this as its the only thing stopping the site going live?
tdr170
In the shipping module config do you have it set to all items in one package. try this Don't use the module just create your own shipping carrier and add the price range and weight range as described above. Since you only charge one fee this may be better for you.
KMiDigital
Sorry I might have confused things by saying module I use the PS default shipping. I have attached two images so you can see how they are set up. I created the Royal Mail carrier as I have always done. image attached, but this one is the one that mulitplys. patuga
you don't need to create such a huge range. if you set all product weigths to 0, then your orders will always be 0 creating a range from 0-1 KG should be enough, but i don't think it matters in this case. also create just one range. either weight or price. also, check if you don't have any extra fees on the product pages. KMiDigital
I have tried what you suggested and now i am getting the following message when I go through the cart buying process "There are no carriers available that deliver to this address". Not really sure whats going on with this but its diving me insane
gdb7973
Hi Kmi, I have just tried this on my shop & it works, (I only tried it on 2 products but it worked) both items I added went through at no extra postage but the £4.00 handling charge was there & i got all the way through to payment. So what I'm saying is in the Shipping Tab, just put 4.00 in the handling section........but make sure there is no extra shipping charges on your products.......... I have no price set in my fees for Fees by carrier, geographical zone, and ranges. Let me know if this helps you or not. if it doesn't. we could always chat over skype or something to get your site sorted..... Graeme P.s you may have to check the Europe box in the carries set up, I only remember I had the same issue of nocarriers when I unchecked this box!! w3bsolutions
Hey thanks for the message but I have it sorted now... How did you sort it? I am having the same problem. I have configured it properly but the products are multiplying by the shipping cost. I have set 5 euros for orders under 120€ and if I add 5 products to the cart (less than 120€) i am getting 5 x5 = 25€ shipping. This is driving me crazy.
