hernanlr Posted August 9, 2012 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Hi, I have a big dilemma with the attributes feature, as I´m putting up a site of candles and it has the following characteristics: The always have 15 colors for most of their candles in stock, mainly for retail sales. That means, we can add those 15 colors in the attributes section so that anybody can buy the combinations online. The issue comes when we add a group of wholesale clients. Those clients, besides a better price, have the possibility to order another 35 colors, usually out of stock, but because they place large orders, they can be prepared and shipped within reasonable time. The problem is that if we add the 35 wholesale extra colors, then retail clients can order them but we don´t have them... If we don´t add them, wholesalers will not be able to order them from the web... So what we need, in order not to have to duplicate categories and make a stock mess, is a way to determine that an attribute or a group of attributes are exclusive for a group and hidden for another. Something similar to the way categories can be set for groups of clients. Anybody has a solution for this? Any mod? Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
