Force "Check Availability" before order

Hi.

 

I'm installing a site to my games store (www.dieletronicos.com.br).

 

I also have a phyisical store, where I keep my real stock, but unfortunatelly, I can't keep the site's stock updated with the real stock, on the physical store.

 

I was trying to figure out how I could keep the site with products available for selling, but on some way, keep the customer waiting before finishing the orders while I check the real stock (calling to the physical store, for instance), and only after I confirm that i have the product available, the customer could continue with the process.

 

As an example, look at this site

The most products show the price and the "Buy" button, but some products, like the "Eye Toy 3 Camera", have just a "Check Availability" link.

This is the kind of solution I was thinking about.

 

Does anyone have this kind of cenario?

How would you solve this problem?

Is there any module that treats this?

My bad I thought you wanted to set it to where people can purchase all the time without you changing numbers. It looks like you're wanting more than I can help you with. Sorry
