alexafuentes
Hello community! I've been told I need to active the Gzip compression of my store. However, I'm afraid to do it because I already generated an htaccess file when I activated the Friendly URLs. Activitaing the Gzip compression would overwrite my file? What can I do to avoid any damage? Well, I already activated the Gzip compression and it turn my site slower. I have a server response of 10 seconds. I desactivated the compression but my site is still slow. DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. PLEASE HELP ME Edited July 18, 2012 by alexafuentes (see edit history)
shacker
backup your htaccess, and use the prestaboost module to enable gzip (search it on forum)
