Create stats within a normal mdule

Hey guys,

 

I'm a newbie on PrestaShop and I'm trying to create a module which displays some counters on the product page! Inside this module I also want to create a statistics page on the back-office of Prestashop! I noticed that for creating the statistics I have to extend the ModuleGrid class!

 

I had a look inside the other modules and from far as I can see I have to create a different module for the statistics part! Is there a way to make it work from only one module (the front-office part (already done) + the configuration in the modules page on the back-office (already done) + (this is what I want to improve/add on my module)the statistics part)!
