Set pricing by attribute as a permanent percentage

I've found that I can set a specific price for a certain product attribute but I'm wondering if it can go further than that. I'd like to be able to set it as a percentage and then make the change permanent for that attribute. When that attribute is chosen for a product, the price would be affected as well.

 

For example, the attribute group contains the following:

 

1 yard

3/4 yard

1/2 yard

1/4 yard

 

The price for 1 yard is 100% of the retail price, 75% for 3/4 yard, 50% for 1/2 yard and 25% for 1/4 yard.

 

 

Is this possible?

I'm also interested in this sollution. This way, any change on the product price will be automatically reflected in it's attributes.
