TEMANDO fright system?

Is there anyone developing a module for the Temando freight system?

In Australia we seem to be lagging behind the rest of the world in terms of a solid freight integration.

I've looked long and hard and can't seem to find anything that fits the bill.

Agreed, Tomer's Aust Post module is great but if your goods weigh over 20KG you're screwed.

I have clients that sell much larger and heavier goods than can be transported by Aust Post so need to get a solution.

 

I've only been able to find one freight supplier (temando) that fits the bill, but if you guys have some other suggestions, please bring 'em!!

 

I'm really interested in getting Temando to do something for Prestashop like they've done for other ecom platforms but after having conversations with them they're needing a bit of a push.

 

Can anyone help?

I've put a few links here so you get what I'm on about, along with links to assets and development that other people have done.

Perhaps one of you code wizards can put the pieces together for me?

Amazing - you all must already have a freight solution in Australia!

(over 20 KG and Australia Post won't carry it)

I thought I might just get one reply at least.

Nonetheless, I have some information for you:

Temando have informed me that they are testing their Prestashop and Virtuemart solutions in the next couple of weeks.

This means that those of you in Australia that want a complete solution may not have to wait that long.

Thanks ms F but as I mentioned in my return email, we'll be shipping in Australia and likely over 25kg.

However, if you can offer the service, I'm really interested.

Temando have quoted me an exorbitant sum to produce the module and after reading some of the user feedback on their service, I'm definitely looking for alternatives.

Hmm.... Couple Of Weeks....

 

Shame that there isn't a better solution. 

 

I use Aust Post Module and the developer is great for support. But not a solution for over 22kg per item and we all know how reliable and timely Australia post are....

 

Temando Module would be great, and open up the freight market to small volume merchants, a win win for Temando. Prestashop is such a great platform and a popular ecommerce solution here is Australia so lets hope they get on board!
